February
2009 Recap
Move From Sales
Status Quo to
GET UP & GO!
Alma Jacobs began the February SMC Breakfast Meeting with the customary “Pledge of Alligance” and an invocation by Grady Thomas. Cindy Petersen then introduced the speaker, Amy Kosnikowski. Amy’s presentation to the SMC members included the fact that we “Can’t Deny Reality” and what is happening with the economy and specifically the new home industry. She reminded us that to be truly successful, (even during these challenging times), we need to set strong goals with measurable results and plan actions and methods to focus on where we want to go! Amy’s presentation featured the value of Attitude, Preparation and Drive asking each of us if we are SOLD on our product and reminding us of the #1 Deal Breaker ... When we can’t answer our clients questions. With consumer confidence so low we must seeks ways to build each prospects confidence and get them in control. Amy walked us back through many of the “basic sales steps”, reiterating that listening is one of the most powerful tools we need. Another principle to observe is are we focusing our attention on the “Ready, Willing and Able”, that’s where our valuable time needs to be spent. Follow-up, follow-up, follow-up!!!
Closing with encouragement, Amy reminded us that: 1) I have succeeded 2) I can succeed 3) I will succeed 4) I choose to succeed and This is What I Will Do to Succeed!

The meeting closed with Alma drawing for a member to receive an hour of coaching with Amy Kosnikowski, the winner was: Ryan Plowman with Plowman Properties. Additionally, Lisa Sampson with Community Marketing Services and Jeff Pruzan with Brentwood Homes won a free SMC Breakfast. The meeting closed with Alma drawing for the 50/50. Bill Knott with Jamison Realty had the winning 50/50 ticket and most gracious redonated his winnings to the Levine Children’s Hospital. |
