What is the Sales and Marketing Council's Past Pioneers program?

"Past Pioneers" was created by the 2006 Charlotte HBA's Sales and Marketing Council to introduce past SMC leaders to current SMC members. It is the SMC's hope that an active relationship with these associates will continue so that new members may take advantage of the network and experience that the previous leaders exemplify. SMC presents the "Past Pioneers" as a valuable resource to current members and an inspiration for them to continue working to make the Charlotte SMC one of the best in the nation.

The award for the 2007 Past Pioneer will be announced on March 29, 2008 at the 27th Annual MAME awards. The 2008 SMC Board presented nominations and narrowed the field of nominees to three. The 3 finalists will be interviewed by MAME judges, who will select the recipient based on their many contributions to the Sales and Marketing Council.
